The bar graph explains the weekly income consumed by families of a country in the year 1968 and 2018. Overall, the weekly expenditure recorded has replaced from the year 1968 to 2018 with some having having drastic changes while others remained un-noted.
Looking at 1968 from the chart, 35% of their spent was on food which drastically decreased by the year 2018 to around 15%-20%. Housing, and clothing and foot-ware comes next followed by leisure, transport, household and personal goods and lastly fuel and power which dropped down to less than 5% over the years.
In contrary, in 2018, the highest average weekly pay-out was used on leisure activities which accounted for more than 20% of the total money earned. However, housing increased by approximately 10% as well as transport rose to 14%. Furthermore personal goods and clothing and foot-ware decreased slightly while household goods recorded the same around the years.
