The bar chart illustrates Southland’s differences in sales among three different periods: 2000, *20…, and future projections for 2025. The information given refers in particular to three main categories: international tourism, dairy products and lastly meat products.
Generally speaking Southland main exports experienced some type of increase in the period from 2000 to now. As can be noted, international tourism has been gradually growing and is expected to follow the same pattern also in the future. At the same time, dairy products have seen a major and sudden increase in the first years, as the sales went from 7£ to 10£ billions. Nonetheless, it will probably suffer a slight drop in the upcoming future. Lastly, while looking at the exports of meat products, it can be noted a gradual and slow fall down that will probaby continue also in 2025.
In conclusion Southland’s sales have both grown and decreased and are expected to do the same depending on the category one focuses on.
