To begin, Southland’s tourism provided eight billion in 2000, with a decent rise to nine billion in 2020. An estimation of ten billion is expected in 2025. Also, the dairy had the greatest growth among the three main exports in 2020, with a 3 billion increaseto 10 billion. However, the number will be slightly dropped to approximately 9.5 billion in 2025.
In contrast, the trend of meat exports signals a small decrease, from 6 billion in 2000 to around 5.5 billion in 2020, with a projection of 5 billion in 2025.
