Overall, in 1990, the age group of 26 to 35 had the highest number of donors, while in 2010, the age group of 36 to 50 had the highest percentage of donors. Additionally, we can see that the age group of 18 to 25 had the lowest percentage of donors in both years.
In 1990, almost 17% of people donated to charity. When we look at the age group of 26 to 35, that percentage increases to 31%. The 36 to 50 age group had the highest percentage of 42% in 1990, a trend that continued into 2010. Following that, there is a downward trend in the age groups of 51 to 65, where the percentage is 35%, and for those over 65, it drops to 32%.
In 2010, the 18 to 25 age group had a proportion of only 7%, which was the lowest in both years. However, there was an upward trend for this group, which jumped to 40% in the age group of 51 to 65.
