The diagram illustrates hom much, in percentages, families spent money on home cooking, while the line graph demostrates, also in percentages, a number of chosen different types of meals from 1970 to 2000. Overall, it is clear that a choice to cook at home fell constanlty, while fastfood restaurants became more popular.
In 1970, 90% of families made a favor to cook themselves, while 10% of them found a possibility to eat in restaurants. Next 2 decades, the number of the latter increased by 25%. In comparison, in 2000, the parts of people, who eat at home or in other places, were similar, by 50% for each of them.
In 1970, fastfood and sitdown restaurants had the same fame, because only 20% of both businesses were chosen by the population. 10 years later, the number of sitdown restaurants grew and it made around 35% per year. Despite this, the number of fastfood increased significantly and reached the highest point, in 2000, it was approximetely 85%, while the number of another meals remained just 50%.
