The line chart below compares the average monthly spending on four cell phones in a European country throughout a period of 9 months in 2002, from January to September.
Overall, it is apparent/evident/clear that while the cost of Domo, Lex and Alpha witnessed an upward trend/tendency, the opposite was true for Sim TX over the period. It is also notable that the figure for Alpha was the highest in 2022 (It is also notable that there was a dramatic rise in the figure of Alpha).
To begin with, in January, the average monthly cost of Domo stood at around 15 euros (the highest figure that month). This number then unstably increased to around 23 euros by the final month, yielding a considerable gap of 8 euros. Likewise, the average spending on Lex started at about 13 euros in the first month, before rising to around 18 euros at the end of the timescale.
With regard to the remaining cell phones, in the first month, the figure for Alpha was the lowest, with a mere 5 euros. However, this figure then significantly increased over the period, surging fivefold to 25% in the final month, thereby marking the average monthly cost of Alpha as the highest in the chart (25 euros). Conversely, there was no dramatic change in that figure for Sim TX. This number underwent a downward fluctuation throughout the period, bottoming out at 9 euros in September.
