Overall, the number of regular postgraduate were always higher than irregular postgraduate for both men and women. Notably, irrespective of the status about participation, the number of female pupils increased over this span of 20 years.
At the start of the period, about 1000 male students carried out their regular curriculum, whereas the number of students decreased to around 800 and 900 in 1980/81 and 1990/91 respectively. However, the number of irregular students increased almost twice in 1990/91 compared to 1970/71.
On the other hand, around 700 female students participated in higher studies at the start of the era, which increased to around 1100 at the end of the era. The number of adjunct female pupils increased almost three times at the end of this period of 20 years compared to initial stage.
