The bar charts compare the number of people employed in five different types of work in one region of Australia in 2001 and 2008
Overall, employment increased significantly for some of the sectors over the period, particulary in sales, computing, and nursing. While others such as, accounting and farming experienced a decline. Sales remained as the highest amount of employee, at the same time farming also remained as the lowest amount of employee.
In 2001, sales employed approximately 160 peoples, raising slightly to 170 peoples in 2008. Accounting and computing has the same amount of people, which is around 60 peoples, but computing outjumped accounting by rising significantly to 85 peoples at the end of the period. On the other hand, Nursing also gain some increase, started with 40 peoples in 2001 and finished with 60 peoples at the end of 2008.
By contrast, accounting saw a noticeable decrease from 60 peoples in 2001 and ended with 40 peoples in 2008. Others minor types of work like farming also gain a decline, from 20 peoples in 2001 and went slightly down to 10 peoples and remained as the least employed sector.
