The bar chart gives information about the employment rates on five different sectors in one Australian region in 2001and 2008. Overall, figure saw varying increases in all spheres, except for farming and accounting, which accounted for decline. Additionally, while the most workers were hired in sales, farming consistently recorded the least.
In 2001, there were around 160.000 workers in sales, which was nearly five times more than that in farming (around 30.000). Notably, accounting, nursing and computing each employed around 60.000 people.
By 2008, workforce in sales had slightly increased, remaining the most populous sector. Computing workers rise to around 80.000 overtaking that of nursing, which remained at about 60.000. Unlike other types of work, accounting and farming observed decline to under 60.000 and below 20.000 declines respectively.
