The bar chart compares the number of people in terms of five forms of working sectors such as sales, accounting, computing, nursing, and farming in one region of Australia in 2001 and 2008.
Overall, it is clear that sales were the most popular in both years than other job categories. Demand for farming and accounting workplaces showed a slight decline throughout the period.
In 2001, the number of employees in sales was around 150k, while employees in computing were 60k, and over the next 7 years, the figures for sales rose by 160k, and the number of people who have worked in computing were less twofold than employees in sales. By contrast, the figures for nursing were approximately 50k and showed a minor increase in 2008.
However, in 2001, the number of laborers in accounting consisted of 60k, and by 2008, demand for this employment decreased to about 55k. The figures for farming were reduced twofold (starting at 20k in 2001 and dropping to 10k by 2008) over the period.
