The bar chart compares the figure of boys and girls participating in scientific exploration for six different subjects in UK university during the year 2009.
It is clear that the count of guys and girls was highest in the biology subject. In each subject boys overtook the girls either by vast or few value, but in Veterinary Medicine subject the case is opposite.
During the entire year, Biology subject was the most favourite as around 225 male and 200 females choose this. Likewise Medicine subject takes the second position with around 25 students less in each category. However, Lots of ladies shown their interest in Veterinary Medicine subject at around 110 which is the one subject where we can see feminine number bigger than masculine.
The other top three subject were Physics, Astronomy and Geology. In those subjects we can see a vast difference between the numbers, around 150, 90 and 70 students respectively. However, If we add both male and female numbers together, Then Biology subject is still the most favourite at around 425 students and Veterinary Medicine subject still at last with around 180 students.
