The bar chart compares four different regions (South america, North america, Europe and Asia) based on the percentage of a car manufacturer’s total sales between 2006 and 2010, at 2-years intervals.
Looking at the picture, it is immediately evident that the figures for total sales of Asia and Europe shared the highest position in all years, whereas the oppostie was true for South America. Additionally, all subjects surveyed showed a dramatic change over the period.
In 2006, Europe dominated the chart with approximately 34% of total sales, which was 9% higher than the proportion of North America. Asia ranked third with nearly 25%, when South America came last with only 11%. After some significant fluctuation, the percentage of Asia accounts for more than one-third of total sales in the report when overcome North America in 2007 and surpassed Europe after 2 years.
By the year 2010, because of many dramatic changes in the percentage of total sales in four regions, Asia accounted for over 50%. Europe’s figures showed a slight increase between 2006 and 2008 but then declined rapidly to 30% and hold the second place. The percentage of total sales in North America had undergone a significant drop, falling to just 9%. In South America, the proportion came back to 11% after dropping to 5% in 2009.
