Overall, it can be seen that the highest proportion of both male and female students have more interest in subjects like linguistics, English language and literature, communication, and media study. While subjects like philosophy, history, and archeology, as well as art and design, have the lowest proportion of students from both groups.
In detail, most of the students in male and female groups would like to study English language and literature, which are the highest proportion, with 230 male and 250 female students. While linguistics students are also there, there are around 180 male and 230 female students. It can be seen that, due to the advancement of technology, subjects like communication and media have a large proportion of students (220 male and 230 female) during the year.
However, the chart indicates information about those other subjects that have the lowest number of male and female students as compared to the above-explained subjects. Art and Design has 170 male and 120 female students. Further, it can be seen that male students are less likely to study philosophy and history, with 50 and 80, respectively. Whereas, female students graphs also decline between 150 and 170 during the year.
