the chart gives information about the proportion of different reasons for the paid time off in a Eurropean nation between 2000,2005 and 2010. Overall, the percantage of the illness and the family responsibilities are declined, while there was a rise in that of stress, personal needs and unexpected problems. it is also reported that the share of illness was always the highest throughout the years.
at the first survey, illness was the reason acounnted for nearly half, at 45%. In the next two surveys, that percentage experience a 5 percentages decline with each survey conducted, resulting at 35% in the last attempt. The proportion of family responsibilities also face a drop starting at nearly 30% to nearly 25%, after which it leveled of till 2010.
initially at close 5%, stress-related absents went through a plateau during 2005 survey, followed by a strong increased to 12 pcentages in the 2010 survey. personal needs decreased subtly from nearly 30% to approximately 24% in 2005, then drop to near 20% at the last survey. a minor rose from 10% to 16% in the second survey was obsserved in unexpected problems, followed by a stablize till the end.
