Petroleum was the most useful energy source, haved 39% of total. Natural gas and coal followed 23% and 22%. These three of the five taken together are more used of global energy resources. Meanwhile, nuclear electric power made 9%, slightly surpassing renewables, which stood at just 7%.The relatively low figures for nuclear and renewable energy suggest that cleaner technologies had yet to gain significant traction in the global energy market.
