The graph below illustrates the types of transport used by tourists who visited New Zealand from five countries in 2004.

In general, in three countries the highest means of transport used was a coach, and in contrast this was a ferry, between 50 and 60 per cent. But, in Japanese the highest was an air transport and in Korea’s was a car.

In 2004, in Britain the most used transport was coach, which is about 58%, and next was air transport, approximately 42%. Then, two of transport, which means car and ferry were the lowest used, at 20% and 28%. As for the German, this was a coach as well, which is used more, at 54%. The air transport used percentage was similar with Britain in this country, at 43%. The car’s proportion was 35% and ferry was similar with 20%. Regarding to the Australia, the was coach, at 50%. And others utilized rate was the lowest, at under the 25%.
