Overall, the most time consuming activity for men was travelling to work while women devoted much time to go shopping in other countries over the course of a year. In contrast, time spent on day trips was minimal for both genders throughout the period.
Looking at the first work related travelling, it is clear that men dedicated significantly more time, at around 330 minutes whereas women spent relatively few minutes travelling to work, at roughly 210 minutes. By contrast, women allocated the most time to go shopping, for around 280 minutes while men accounted for nearly 190 minutes of the total time for shopping. However, both genders spent a small amount of time on day trips, at approximately 40 minutes for men, and at only 20 minutes for women.
With regard to visiting friends, women recorded a much higher time,at around 205 minutes; conversely, it was low for men, amounting to roughly 195 minutes annually. On the other hand, men showed a stronger preference for sports and entertainment than women, at about 140 minutes for men and at approximately 130 minutes respectively.
