The charts below shows the percentage of females going into higher education in five different countries for the years 1980 and 2015.
Overall, it can be seen that the proportion of women going into higher education increased in all five countries over the during of the period. Australia has the highest percentage in both years,whereas South korea had the lowest percentage.
In 1980 Australia was the highest percentage almost 60% of women going into higher education.In contrast, South Korea women went into higher education was the lowest.The percentage in France was lower than in Australia,with around 50% and 58% respectively. USA demonstrated 38% of females going into higher education. Likewise, UK present 35%.
In 2015 women going into higher education in South Korea was nowhere near as high as in Australia. USA reveal more significant statistics than South Korea. Both USA and Australia showed the highest percentage of women going into higher education with around 60%. France was almost as high as UK.
