The line graph gives information about how many inquiries received in different ways that are telephone, letter/ email, and in person by the Tourist Information office per day over 6 months in 2011. Overall, the number of inquiries in person and by telephone increased while the figure for letter or email decreased. In addition, it can be seen that inquiries written in person started as the least common way but then became the way had the most inquiries written whereas the figure for letter or email remained the smallest number throughout the period.
Looking first at the two main ways of writing inquiries, the number of inquiries received by telephone started at nearly 1000 in Jan, then decreased to only 800 in the next month, just higher than the figure for letter/ email around 50 inquiries. After that, it saw a recovery to exactly 1000 in March and remained at that point in the next month.After that, it rose dramatically and hit the highest point in the last month of the period at 1600. In contrast, the number of inquiries written by letter or email was 800 in Jan, it saw a slight decrease in the next 2 months to over 700 in March. It was followed by a gradual decrease to only 400 inquiries in May and remained unchanged at that number to the last month of the period.
The remaining way started at over 400 inquiries- the smallest number in Jan, it increased steadily in the next 2 months to 800 in March. From that, it continued rose significantly and ended at nearly 2000 inquiries in Jun, became the leading way of writing inquiry.
