Overall, the highest percentage of customers’ reason shopping online is lower prices, while that of website type is both overseas and local in both countries.
The bar charts indicate that the least share of website type for online shopping observed local only in Australia and New Zealand, making up 12% and 10%, respectively. While fraction of only overseas website users accounted almost a quarter in Australia. In contrast, that’s 12% more in New Zealand, and exactly a half of customers preferred both overseas and local websites purchasing online.
The bar chart illustrates reasons to choose online rather than offline shopping, showing 59% of Australians prefered websites because of the lower price, while 23% of them due to the convenience. In contrast, just over a half of online customers’ reason was cheaper price, and another half in NZ – convenience and multi-choice. However, there was other reasons in both country, considering 2% each.
