The given charts show data about the proportion of people feeling excited about five distinctive kinds of movies in two countries namely China and Japan in 2005.
Overall, Japan ranked first in terms of the proportion of action movie genres that it produced and released. In addition, the biggest difference could be seen in the figures for action and sci-fi.
The percentage of people being interested in action kind in Japan made up 30%, which twice as much as the figure for China in the year surveyed. Similarly, the portion of Japanese being hooked on drama type was ahead of Chinese by a wide margin, at 25% and 10% respectively during the same year.
By contrast, the percentage of Chinese exciting about comedy comprised a quarter, which was five times as much as the figure for Japanese. Sci-fic genre was the least popular option in China, whose figure was the same rate as that of Japan. The percentage of Japanese watching romance kind consituted 30%, which was four times as much as the figure for Chinese.
