The given chart illustrates the changes in the proportion of six sources of energy production (Hydrogen, Natural gas, Oil, Coal, Nuclear and other renewable) in a country in 1985 and 2003.
Overall, in both years natural gas accounted for over half of the production, while the least was other renewable energy. There was no changes in the production of Hydrogen, whereas coal and oil almost doubled. Nuclear and natural gas on the other hand was the only energy sources that decreases over the period.
The production of coal comprised of 8% in 1985 and by 2003, it increased by 14%. Likewise, the amount of energy generated by oil went up by 10% from 13% in the first year ro 23% by the final year.
