The pie charts and the table report the data about the government’s expenditure of budget for the various types of arts and the quantity of people who participated in these activities throughout the period from 1995 to 2005. It can be seen that there are 4 types of arts: visual arts, theater, music and literature. The percentage of money which was spent on music was responsible for the biggest numbers, so was the contribution of members in each year. In the table, the number is given in thousands.
To begin with, in 1995, the smallest figures were seen in the category of literature, whilst the biggest proportion was demonstrated in music expenditure by almost half. However, the number of the latter witnessed a double in 2005. There was a slight fall in the figures of music. The remaining percentage was equally shared between the budget for the literature and visual arts.
Secondly, in the table, there is only one share whose number of members reached more than 100,000. It was experienced in the contribution of music, where the trend climbed dramatically from 120,000 in 1995 to 150,000 in 2005. Furthermore, while the number of followers in each figure rose minimally during the time, the quantity of participants in the visual arts dropped to less than 50,000.
In summary, the more money was spent on particular types of art,the more followers were involved in its events.
