The three pie charts provide information on the average daily intake of three nutrients among adults in Britain. These nutrients are proven to be unhealthy when over consumed.
Overall, the huge amount of added sugar intake was due to snack, whereas highest amount of table salt and saturated fat is eaten during the last meal of the day. The healthiest style of food eating time was during breakfast with balanced nutrients being devoured, but there is a dramatic increase in the intake of the nutrients after lunchtime.
As a result, there is gradual increase in sodium and saturated fat consumption with 42% and 39% during dinner respectively, comparing with breakfast with 13% and 16%. Added sugar, on the other hand was consumed highly with snack with 45% which is consumed half a times more compared to breakfast, lunch and dinner with 16%,20%,19% respectively.
