Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that top-ranked courses are IT has now supplanted modern languages, which dominated the chart and account for roughly one-quarter of the chart’s data. Additionally, the rise of IT and cooking is causing a drop in art and music. Art has gone through a slight change from 17% to 15%, while music has already disappeared from the chart.
In 1985, modern languages dominated the chart at exactly 24%, which was roughly 3% higher than fitness and dance; art ranked third at 17%, compared with local history and cooking, which were ranked fourth and fifth at 15% and 14%, respectively. While music appreciation came in last at 8%.
Now, IT has the highest figure on the chart, followed by fitness and dance at 22%. Cookery has come in third at 19%, which is higher than modern languages 2%. Art has reached the lowest point at 15%
