As the graphic demonstrated, the adult education centre had 6 different courses in 1985. The majority of student took the Modern languages course including French, Germany and Spanish, which was up to 24%. The second group was the Fitness and dance course which is 2% lower than the first one and the rest of the courses were the Art, Local history, Cookery and Music appreciation, they had 17%, 15%, 14%, and 8% students respectively.
However, the statistics of this year is quite different from 1985. Firstly, the type of courses is degraded and changed. Only 5 courses are provided that are IT, Fitness and dance, Cookery, Art and Modern languages. The IT course as a new lesson take account 27% among students which is the most popular choice for students. Besides, the Fitness and dance course remain the same of 1985 and Art class and Cookery is decresing 2% and raising 5% respectively. The Modern languages class is 17%.
According to the data, we may conclude that as the techinic developing, the scients course is getting blooming whereas the vanishing of art class. And the human basic courses still remain the same.
