A substantial proportional decline was observed in both first degree-science and First Degree-Art, with qualification sliding from 20% to 11%, and decreasing from 15% to 2%, respectively. Similarly, a 2% reduction was shown in Master-Art. In contrast, the Master-Science, was the only category no change over the years, consistently accounting for 29% of the total.
Moving to the upward segments, PhD-Science increased significantly, almost doubling than its proportion in 1990. It exceeded Master-Science to claim the first spot in 2010, peaking at 30% of the total. PhD-Art experienced similar, albeit less pronounced, changes. This group was much smaller compared to the other qualifications, with its figures increasing slightly to around 5% in 2010.
