The two graphs show the level of happiness between married and non-married people on different age group and how happy are married people with children and non-children in the U.S.
The first graph illustrate that married people are happier than unmarried people. Their rates of happiness are between 40 and 45percent, while for unmarried group these rates are slightly lower. People aged between 18-29, 30-49 and 65 and over are the happiest in married category, whereas in the counterpart group these are the ones with lower percentage of happiness (the percentage is between 21 and 22), with exception for those in the age 65 and above, this aged group in unmarried category are the happiest with 34% say they are happy. Meanwhile, when analyzing second graph, married people with children aged under 18 and no children have the best rates of happiness, as 44 and 43 percent of them respectively said that. In contrast, those with children older than 18 years are less happy, only 41% are happy.
Overall, married people are happier when compared to unmarried people and in these categories, that with children under 18 years and those without children tend to be happier.
