The graphs give information about energy spending of two distinct contries – UK and USA – in 2000 and 2006.
Overall, energy consumption of coal in both countries sharply declined within the given period, while gas Dramatically increased and even got ahead of it. Even so, oil continued to retain its position as te largest energy consumption category in USA. Remaining three categories remain stable and did not change significantly by the time.
In the USA, between 2000 and 2006, energy spending on coal decreased from 35 to 25, while gas slightly increased from 15 to 25. On other hand energy consumption of oil, nuclear power and other renewable sources remain stable without big changes, at 35, 10 and 5, respectively.
In the UK, between 2000 and 2006, energy consumption on coal fell from 30 to 15, while gas significantly increased and even got ahead of coal which was the largest energy consumption sphere in 2000. Other categories, as in USA, did not show great changes and stayed constant with 30, 10 and 10, respectively.
