The charts illustrates the consume of various nutruents such as sodium,saturated fat and added sugar by average person of USA in each meal and snacks.
It is clear that US residents intake most of the sodium and saturated fat in dinner,wheres,the consumption of added sugar is mostly done in snacks time.
For sodium, the percentage of their daily intake in breakfast was 14% but it increased to 29% in lunch time.Then in snacks time,the percentage number went down from 29% to 14% ,a fall of about 15%. Finally,in dinner time,the percentage of sodium intake experienced a dramatic increase to 43%.
For saturated fat,the daily consume percentage in breakfast was 16% and the number increased by 10% in lunch time.However, in snacks, average US person consumed 21% saturated fat of their total meal.Again,the percentage of saturated fat faced a increase to 37% in dinner,same as sodium intake. In Breakfast,the number of added sugar intake was about 16% and it increased from 16% to 19% ,a up by 3% in lunch period.The intake of added sugar is the highest amount in the snacks time and it is 42%. But in dinner,added sugar consumption is reduced to 23%.
