Bar charts illustrate how many people in different ages bought tickets online to cinema, theatre and concert over 3 first months of 2006 and what type of device was used. Overall, almost in all countries difference between young and old people was not significant. The main part of people bought tickets from computer.
Firstly, the most signficant difference between youthful and old people was in United Kingdom: People 65+ years old, who used online method of purchasing tickets approximately 45%. The percentage of adult people it is 55%. In Australia was similar situation: approximately 46% of old persons purchased online tickets, and 55% of young persons bought tickets online. The lowest percentage of internet users buying tickets was in Malasiya – 40% for 20-44 people, and 42% for 65+ people. It is only country where the number of old users is higher than the number of young people.
Second graph illustrates, that the highest number of people bought tickets from dekstop – it’s 65% of australians, 62% of British and 58% of Malaysians. Next big part of humans used laptops for purchased tickets – it is approximately 43,30 and 45% for Australia, UK and Malasiya. And the lowest number of people bought tickets using mobile phones. For this type of device the percentages is: 22% for people from Australia, 25% for British and 32% from Malaysians.
In general, in 2 out of 3 countries the number of young people bigger, than number of old people, except Malaysia. The most popular device for purchasing tickets it is Dekstop computer, the most unpopular – mobile phone. The laptop is on the middle of popularity.
