Overall in commuting, it’s clear that there was a number of changes both in travelling purposes and type of vehicles from 1990 to 2010.
The most notable trend is that the most kilometres were travelled for transportation and delivery in 1990. This figure was around 8500 km, rising to almost 9000 km by 1995 and by 2010 falling to 6000. Personnel travelling purpose was the consist from the most approximately left of the transportation, the average number of km while commuting experienced a small increase from around 1990 in 1990 reaching approximately 8200 km by the end of the period.
The pie chart shows the different types of transportation used. It indicates that in the 20 years difference, the percentage of cars fell by 4% while the number of trucks increased by 5%. Over the same period, buses and motorcycles both fell decreased 4% while the category labelled “other” were accounted for 1% of upward trend.
