Looking from an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the figures for learning English by Evening Class witnessed downward trajectories, but the opposite was true for that of Online trend over the period shown, while the trend of Abroad varied across the three countries. Furthermore, the percentage of Evening Class was most substantial.
In 2010, Evening Class recorded the highest proportion over three countries, with 70% in country A, 72% in country B an 94% in country C. In country A, the share of Abroad was significantly higher than the figure for Online, with 25% and 5%, respectively. Similarly, country B shown the same pattern, with 20% for Abroad and 8% for Online. By contrast, while Abroad was higher in previous countries, country C experienced no figure for it.
Regarding 2015, there was a dramatic fall in Evening Class in country B and C, with the value plunging from to 48% and 82%, while Evening Class in country A saw a modest decline, edging down 3% during the period. However, the figures for Online in three countries experienced a rapid increase, with the percentage of country A doubled from 5% to 10% and proportion of country C more than doubled, while that for country B quandrupled. Specially, instead of decreasing or remaining unchanged, the share of Abroad in country C climbed consistently to reach 3% at the end of the period.
