The pie charts illustrate the percentages of the primary methods of transporting to one university in the years 2004 and 2009. Overall, car and bus usage surpassed other forms of transportation during the given periods.
At the beginning of the period, in 2004, we can see that the figure for car had the highest percentage at slightly more than a half (51%), followed by a bus at 33%. Then, ride a bike accounted a mere 9%, while walking and train percentages were the lowest at 4 % and 3%, respectively.
By 2009, significant changes can be observed when compared to the figures from 2004. Bus transportation was the most popular method and accounted a modest 46%. Next, car and bicycle also had high figures at 28% and 16%, respectively. Meanwhile, this figures for walking and train were a mere 6% and 4%, respectively.
