Overall, it is clear that the percentage of employed school finishers experienced significant increase throughout the period, while students who chose further education or who are unemployed, saw varying degrees of decrease.
In 1980, the further education was most popular choice and consisted exactly half of proportion of school finishers, followed by students who are employed by 40%. Meanwhile, the percentage of students who did not get the job showed was the lowest, with 10% of the whole numbers of school finishers.
In 2000, the proportion of students who prefers further education and who are unemployed saw varying degrees of decrease by 23% and 2%, respectively. By comparison, the percentage of students who got the job after a leaving school, rose significantly by 15% and became the biggest proportion school leavers.
