The diagram depicts the production process of cans of vegetable soup.
Overall, the process is divided into nine steps, commencing with sorting and preparing vegetables, and ceasing with the labelling process.
Firstly, the vegetables are prepared and sorted, before they continued to the cooking process. In this step, the soup is stirred with salt and pepper to give flavour. Then, it is heated with ultra high temperature inside a heating machine at approximately 145 degrees Celsius. Before continuing to the cans packaging process, the soup that is heated moved to the rapid cooling process at around 30 degrees Celsius.
In the packaging process, the cans are prepared and moved to the manufacturing machine. Then, the cans are steamed to sterilise. The soup that was processed earlier is filled to the cans and continues to the closing step using an automated machine. After that, the cans move to the washing process before being labeled and distributed.
