The diagram illustrates the sequential stages in which ethanol fuel is manufactured from corn.
It is readily apparent that the process comprises nine main steps. It starts when corn is selected and stored, then culminates with the delivery to the gas station for consumption.
At the first stage, the process commences when corn is collected and stored in the warehouse. After that, the corn is milled by the milling machine before undergoing the cooking and fermentation processes within 4 hours and 48 hours respectively, in which water is added through the procedure.
Subsequently, the mixture is then separated into liquid and solid-by products, in which liquid makes up the most percentage. Then the liquid is treated sophisticatedly in factories to produce purified ethanol. Following that, the resulting fuel is distributed and stored in the containers. In the last step, ethanol fuel is delivered to gas stations and utilized as gasoline and oil for vehicles.
