Take a glance at the process chart, there are ten steps in this process, starting from collecting corn to the distribution of ethanol fuel.
First and foremost, the process begins with the picking of the corn on the field. After harvesting, it is stored for a short period and then put in a mill to be ground into powder. Following that stage, water is added to the corn flour and that mixture is cooked for 4 hours. Once the blend has been cooked, it is fermented for 48 hours. When the fermentation is complete, the combination is separated into solid by-product and liquid. The liquid is then treated specially to become ethanol. Afterward, it undergoes a purification that lasts for 5 hours. After that, it is stored once again before being transported to the consumers for the usage as fuel.
