The diagram illustrates how sugar is produced from sugar cane.
Overall, it is apparent that there are seven stages of making sugar, commencing with cultivating sugar cane and culminating in drying and cooling sugar crystals for selling.
At the first stage of process, sugar is farmed which grows for 12-18 months. This is then harvested that can be done by two ways, either it is machanically collected or gathered by farmer. Following it’s collection, the sugar canes fed through a crushing machine in order to extract the juice.
In the subsequent step, th the juice is purified by pouring on a limestone filter. After that, it begins heated in an evaporator for making syrup. Next, sugar crystals is separated fromthe syrup in a device called a centrifuge. In the final stage, the produced sugar crystals are dried and cooled to make sugar that we consume.
