The flow chart illustrates the way in which sugar is made from sugar canes for consumption.
Overall, there are 7 steps in the whole sugar producing process, beginning with growing sugar canes and ending with drying and cooling process.
To begin, sugar canes used to make sugar are grown for about a year to 18 years old before being harvested either manually by human or by harvesting machine. Following this, sugar canes are crushed in a crusher machine to extract juice.
At the subsequent stage, the produced juice is purified through the limestone filter before being heated by an evaporator to condense the juice becomes syrup. After separating sugar crystals from syrup by centrifuge through centrifuging process, the produced crystals are dried and cooled to make the sugar that we consume.
