The diagram illustrates how the sugar is made.
Overall, the process comprises several stages including farming, crushing, proceeding and drying.
The growing process of sugar cans takes around 12 to 18 months. Once they are grown up, there are two ways of harvesting them: machanical, and manual. The difference between two methods is that machines harvest sugar canes without getting rid of the leafs, though the process is much faster.
When the canes are harvested, they are crushed via the use of a special machine to get juice out of them. In the next stage, the juice is purified by going through the filter with a limestone. These stages are done to eventually heat this juice, so the most part of the water evaporates and juice becomes a syrup. After getting the syrup, it should go through the centrifuger, for sugar crystals to be separated from the syrup. Finally, the sugar is left for drying and cooling for a while to be usable.
