The diagrams illustrate the manufacturing process for making sugar.
Overall, there are two main stages: the growing of sugar canes and the production of sugar by machines, which involves five steps.
The first stage of the process is the longest as sugar canes take twelve to eighteen months to be fully grown. After that, they can be harvested in two ways: by machinery tools or by hands.
The second stage includes five steps in total. First of all, the sugar canes are crushed into juice by machines. Then, the juice is purified by a tool called limestone filter before taking the next step that evaporates the juice by heat to make it become syrup. After, it is put into the centrifuge, which separates sugar crystals from syrup. Finally, sugar crystals are dried and cooled to become final products.
