The given pictures illustrate how a student common room changed from five years ago compared to the present day.

Overall, the common room witnessed a number of dramatic changes, the most important of which is the appearance of many facilities, especially the communal area.

In the communal area, the two round tables were removed, allowing an addition of a rectangular table with a wide range of chairs surrounding near the entrance. Another notable change could be seen in the bottom right-hand corner where the bookshelf was removed. This was accompanied by the three armchairs and a television set up. Furthermore, there was an addition of a bench for laptops in the bottom, which allowed students to use their devices more conveniently. It is also noticeable that the drinks machine was installed to offer convenience for students.

The area in the North side of the room underwent very little change. More precisely, while no alteration was made to the cupboard, sink, bench, refrigerator, and microwave, the third microwave from the right was replaced by a bench.
