The maps illustrate how a student common room has been changed for 5 years.
Overall, the room has undergone a number of significant changes, the most important of which are the addition of equipment and the repurposing of facilities.
Looking first at the center of the room, there used to be four largle circular tables with 6 chairs per one arranged in a staggered patten but two of them are removed. Instead of that, one rectangular ten-seat table has been added in the upper left corner near the entrance still staying remained. Moreover, a set of armchairs and a television are set in the right corner of the room for the purpose of relaxation, adjacent to which is a bench for laptops. Another significant change is that a drinks machine has been situated at the upper right corner, moving the circle table far left.
Above the studying zone, while a cupboard, a sink, and one bench on the left still remain unchanged, other places witness a considerble transformation of their purpose. Another bench has been turned into a microwave so there are two microwaves in total at this place. However, a refrigerator on the right hand is still there.
