The diagrams illustrate the Kelsbey village development from 1780 to 2000. Overall, the village developed gradually from village consisted of farm and woods, to shops, wetland and schools.
In 1780, the village just made up of river, farms, woods, and mere 100 houses. Then, eight decades later, the size of farm shrank 50% and the forest reduced to 20% less than its original coverage. However, the village built a new road, constructed a bridge to cross the river, and doubled the number of houses for its residence.
In the beginning of 21st century, the village experienced rapid development. Although it lost all of its woods and farms, it rapidly developed several new buildings such as two school buildings and several shops. On top of that the village built a new road to connect the school and the housing complex that grew to 500 houses. Moreover, a wetland for birds and several sport fields were built near the river and adjacent to the school.
