Given are the maps illustrating how Kelsbey village changed dramatically over the period of 220 years.
Overall, the area was developed noticeably with more fundamental facilities and constructions set up in the vicinity of the river and the rest of the region.
Between 1780 and 1860, significant changes had occurred such as the erection of a bridge spanning the river and a road, which would give access to the village to the Northeastern territory. Besides, the farms and the adjoining forest with a wide range of woods had shown a reduction in the size of occupied space, giving more accommodation to local residents.
During the final year of the total period, the region had transformed significantly compared to the previous periods. Particularly, the area to the South underwent the removal of the farms and the forest, followed by a wetland for birds located downstream of the river as well as various sport fields and a couple of schools, which had another route to the South entrance of the village. The year 2000 experienced the considerable enlargement of the village by a half as much as that of 1860; also, five shops were built on the Eastern bank of the river.
