The pictures illustrate the transformation occurring in a student dormitory in 2010 and today.
Overall, there were remarkable developments in the facilities of the lodging, and the most striking features are the increase of two bedrooms and the enlargement of the living space.
Prior to being restructured, in 2010, there was an L-shaped garden on the north side and another on the reversal side. A living room was located between the aforementioned area for gardening and a bedroom. The perpendicular corner of that bedroom positioned a kitchen, which connected with another sleeping area in the southeast. In the middle of the accommodation, the third bedroom was adjacent to a bathroom.
Over the years, until now, while the bathroom, the main entrance and the three initial bedrooms remain in their original positions, other areas have undergone spectacular alterations. The L-shaped garden is reduced in size, becoming an I-shaped one, corresponding with the demolition of the 2010 living room, hence making room for two additional sleeping areas. Apart from being a place for cooking, the room referred to as the past kitchen now has an alternative role, which is for social interaction. Moreover, a new en-suite room is built next to the southeast bedroom. Another significant change is that the old down-side garden is removed and now fully utilized for car parking.
