The maps illustrate how a student accommodation building changed from 2010 to the present. Overall, the student accommodation building has undergone considerable transformations, most notably with the expansion of bedrooms and the addition of modern facilities.
Looking first at the building in 2010, there were two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen located along the northeastern area of the place. In addition, the accommodation had green spaces surrounding, with a L-shaped garden at the northern site and the other at the opposite site. At the center of the building were a bedroom and a bathroom. All of the amenities and rooms of the accommodation building could be accessed directly by the U-shaped hallway stem from the main entrance, which was at the bottom left corner of the map.
After experiencing developments, the living room and a small garden to the north have been eliminated for new bedrooms, forming an array of three consecutive bedrooms. Regarding the internal area, while the remaining features stay unchanged, the kitchen has been accompanied by a place for entertaining and socialising purposes. Furthermore, an en-suit room has appeared by the isolated bedroom in the bottom-right corner. Finally, a huge car park has replaced the old garden at the bottom of the map.
