The provided diagram depicts how small-scale commercial honey is manufactured.
Overall, the process comprises two main stages, namely the bee phase and the human phase. Starting with bees collecting nectar, continuing with several processing steps, and finishing with honey sold to people.
Starting with the bee phase, initially, bees gather nectar from flowers, collected nectar is then deposited in wooden beehives to produce honey. Once honey forms, bees will utilize their wings as fans to dry honey, after that, honey cells will be kept clean with sealed wax, finishing the bee phase.
Moving to the human phase, people will harvest honeycombs from beehives, after being gathered, combs are pressed by pressing machines, acquiring honey. Subsequently, raw honey will be poured into sump tanks manually, during this step, honey is heated before being moved to sieve tanks to remove dirt. After the honey is filtered, it will be kept in settling tanks for a period of about two to four days. Finally, having been settled honey is poured into jars, ready for commercial purposes.
