The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of honey in small-scale commercial production. Overall, there are two primary phases, which involves the bee phase and the human phase, where each of them covers several stages.
In the bee phase, the bees collect nectar from flowers before keeping it in the depository. Then, the honey is dried using fan wings. Once it is dried, the bees keep the cells clean using seal cells with wax.
Continuing to the human phase, the farmers gather honey combs, which later are pressed using the pressing machine to extract the honey. Once the honey is extracted, it is heated in the sump tank in 45-50 degree celsius. The honey is then transferred to the sieve tank to remove the dirt before it is processed in the settling tank for 2-4 days. After that, the final product of honey is put into jars. When the latter step has been finished, the honey is ready for sale.
